Who were our worst players today? I would say C.Jones and McQualter to return, and maybe Geary (who should not have been dropped in the first place). Who would you drop based on todays performance?

Yep....Gee got home and looked at the stats....Ball only 10 touches....And with Armo kicking two goals things are not looking good for him.plugger66 wrote:2 changes next week and baring injury both CJ and Mini return for Armo and either Ball, Zac or max.
One of the defenders needs to go too. Only because of what we are missing having that playing as a midfielder instead.
BTW - Who was lining up on Monfries for most of the match....?

Yeah I think this problem must be addressed.
Too tall and clunky down back. Lack of run and reliant on too few.
Mini and Cj DEFINATELY back in - Armo and Dempster OUT for mine.
Thought Ball played well today.

Sam Fisher was close to our worst. Kicked a couple of goals early but the rest of his game was as bad as I've ever seen from him.
His tackling today was unbelievably poor. Just can't stick them at the minute.
Gilbert was a total passenger.

Younger teams are always going to be a bit quicker unless we play a team of entirely indigenous players
Fact is in finals teams play slower football and its based around stoppages and tall forwards. Not real pace
Armo is an out and Raph although he shouldnt be blamed for Monfries little scoring spree as the space should have never been ther for the little squirt to run into time and time again

Never seen Sam Fisher under the pump like he was today and the last few weeks barring last week of course.Seems like he has lost the confidence with the ball in his hands ? Whenever he has the ball normally makes the right decision but so unsure now ?borderbarry wrote:Who were our worst players today? Definately, others have not build up the credits Luke Ball has. Credits aside we are going to need players to jump on the ball and push it away in the finals and Luke Ball is one of the best in the businessMilton66 wrote:Keep Ball in?reincarnated wrote:Younger teams are always going to be a bit quicker unless we play a team of entirely indigenous players

I was taking the piss, meaning you can't take the same guys out two weeks in a row...they're already out. Geddit? HOWEVER, I was surprised that there were so many changes...I honestly expected maybe 4 to come back in. Even more surprised that 2 taggers were rested. All seems pretty clear in retrospect.bobmurray wrote:He does now..plugger66 wrote:That one more makes the difference.
