How about somebody play on him. A monkey could hold him kickless.

Where the hell is Riewoldt. On the radio every time we go forward it's kicked to him and he does jack all. Some captain.
Think before you post fool.

Needed those last couple to steady. Only 3 goals now...surely our fresh legs will get us through in the second half

well done nick & kosi
2nd half will be interesting - if we switch on we'll run over them!

Those goals to Kosi and Roo to close out the half will be important imho.

If we can come out after half time and kick a couple I reckon we can run over the top of them.

BANG BANG

Recall Essendon in 2000 lost their only game in Round 21 to Bulldogs, while training heavily before the taper in the finals. My feeling is we are doing a similar thing and a loss can be beneficial if it creates more intensity and a mentaility to atone for a bad performance. This is of course if we don't get belted today and work our way back into the game. We have to wait and see I guess.
A win from here would be more beneficial. Boys will get a better winners mentality that they can't be kept down, that they can fight back, take the game under control and roll it in.

Both my brothers support Bombers. I want a win so badly. I will have to go into hiding. Anyone but the bombers.

Idiotic post. They've been winning all the clearances and contests. They've had loose men everywhere.

Look Essendon are big pretenders. Have every confidence that the Saints will steam roll them

Anyone tagging Watson, he seems to dominate against us every game!

Essendon injury worries...On radio they said Fletcher is off (?), McPhee looks proppy on Kossi (corkie?) and Lovett off with a corkie...

any other news?

Hopefully Fletcher stays off...he is so important for their defensive structure

No not the old injury thing. Then if we do win it will be all about poor essendon and they would have won if not for injuries

Those injuries and fresh legs makes this a fascinating second half...or are we in the heavy training phase

Great captains goal by Roo gives us real hope

Riewoldt marks one out of around a dozen kicks in his direction that quarter, and suddenly I'm wrong?

He's our main forward. And he was completely useless. Every time we get under pressure he dissapears. Hayes is our real captain.

Dempster won't be coming back if I have a say. Getting 4 kicked on him by the ultimate dud of the competition - probably the most embarrasing thing that can ever happen to a player. Goodbye. Delist.

When we run riot over them in the final quarter, watch out for Riewoldt's 3 cheap goals in the last 5 minutes when it's all over. INSPIRATIONAL.

Here's a thought - support some other team. For real.
