I was just so rapt in that clip I found it hard to get my head around a negative being associated with it.

That sorta publicity on prime time late night TV is GOLD ... I will be doing my extra bit to spread the word when in the USA in a couple of months ..

He fires a nice handpass & short stabkick too .. reckon he might have made a good half-back if he'd decided to have a go

release date for 'Funny people' in the cinemas near me is Sept
right around finals time
game shown during the movie is the Saints/ Pies final from last year.. so maybe prophetic.

My work are having a "movie" night next month & I had declined the invite until I found out the movie was "Funny People". Have now decided to go just so I can cheer in the Saints scene. I'm the only Saints supporter amongst 120 odd people.

There was a preview for Bana's new movie with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen on the Today show.

I could have sworn I saw a Saints clock on the wall.

a complete room with saints memorabilia and the game on the telly is St Kilda Vs Pies from 2008 finals

Not everything that appears in the promo necessarily appears in the movie.

The footy scene is less than a minute and you have to sit through over 100 minutes of Adam Sandler before you get to it.
