HOLY GRAIL!!!!! - Hunters and Collectors.
In 1997 they sang it at the grand Final and Mark Seymour changed the words
The line is
"Those big black birds they were circling the sky"
He changed it to
"Those big black Crows they were circling the sky"
Hasn't had the same apeal since.
Wake me up when September ends.

Now...slightly off topic ..but..I just cannot believe that Leaps and Bounds hasnt ever been sung on GF day. Its the absolute quintessential song about going to the footy at the G. Combines probably my 2 favourite Aussie cons, Footy and Paul Kelly
Heres the original clip if youve never seen it. If I'm ever voted PM of Australia this song will be the National Anthem and the lyrics on the citizenship exam by 9.05am on the Monday morning
Oh just one bit of footy trivia about the clip..the guitarist is the late Steve Connolly, brother of Age journo Rohan
THE BUBBLE HAS BURST

Paul Kelly performed Leaps and Bounds live at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth games. It went off

What about the obvious song:
Oh when the saints go marchin in
Oh when the saints go marchin in
Oh how I want to be with St Kilda
Oh when the Saints go marchin in
Oh when the saints
Milney-oh when the saints
Go marchin in
Milney-go marching in
Oh when the Saints go marchin in
Oh how I want to be with St Kilda
We just won the premiership.
Oh when the saints go marchin in
Oh when the saints go marchin in
Oh how I want to be with St Kilda
Oh when the Saints go marchin in
Oh when the saints
Milney-oh when the saints
Go marchin in
