Eric Bana Loves the Saints - Again!

Post: # 794205Post sabras »

Was just watching Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Bana actually donned a saints jumper, and with ball in hand gave jimmy fallon a hands on intro into our game. Not only that, he gave jimmy a collingwood jumper to wear, and mimicked punching him in the face.

Go eric, loved your stuff on full frontal, love it even more in the states.

Go saints!

Gotta love it when they wheel out the VB!

The only thing I want is a Premiership. Is that too much to ask?

Gotta love Eric spreading our culture...perhaps not the vb part :P

Has anyone seen "Funny People"

I've seen a version of the movie but the quality isn't great.

He's explaining footy and he says something like:

"This big f@#$er passes to this little f@#$er and he gives it to this big f@#$er and this F@#$ER, I HATE THIS F@#$ER....."

I'd love to know who he is pointing at.

If he is so happy to give us free publicity, the club would be crazy not to sign him up to do some membership campaign commercials/advertising next year?

Best Saints Ambassador the club could wish for...... I've got a pic of him in as 'Poiter' in the '97 GF parade.. I'll brink it to Livewire on Sunday.

Wow fantastic...He is an out and out saints man. Not even like a half supporter of the game who knows a few players and has a team. He knows his stuff..

Should definetly sign him up for some advertising work for our club.

Btw not sure why but i was always under the impression Molly was our #1 Ticket Holder..

ERIC Bana has continued his one-man crusade to turn America into a nation of Saints fans on another late-night talk show.

The Hollywood star appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, where he again displayed his love of the Saints.

Thought the same thing too saints66au.
While we all think it's great that Bana is spreading the Saints gospel on US TV,
On the other hand, Jeld-Wen would be spewing that they're not getting the international exposure they could've had if it were a genuine jumper.

Oh dear you managed to find a negative in all of this.
So what you are saying is that next time eric decides to sell our team and game to the world he goes to the extra trouble of obtaining the correct props no matter where he is to do so?
I am sure that Jeld-Wen are smarter than that.

There may be an issue with going on a commercial network wearing advertising material.

If Mr Jeld Wen's competitor was paying thousands of dollars for an ad, she wouldn't be very happy to see Jeld Wen getting a free hit.

The initial observation doesn't entertain considering in my opinion.

I think it's great that Eric has promoted the Saints brand to the US and for what it's worth, I think our jumper looks fantastic uncluttered with advertisements.
Boy, you were quick to pounce on that one fireman...relax.
