well a team consists of 22 players
max is one
zac is another
that still leaves 20
max is a FB, plain and simple
will never go forward
he is THE FB
dawson can play CHB, CHB flank, CHF flank IMO
along with fisher he is someone that can move to another position if its needed.
gotta remember
zac isnt just a FB...he can be if required to move around.
i see max as a FB only pretty much...look at the career, the experience, and the record against opp FF's......its stellar..the only way he will not play would be because to injury.
besides
there is nothing wrong with having a defender on the bench along with one ruckman and two mids (when others on the park can rotate forward if needed, like BJ, gram, zac, chips....i dont think we need a forward on the bench, just mids ruck and a defender)
the argument is tho, why have a defender on the bench??
most guys that can rotate forward can rotate back too so the backline is covered, so we should have another forward on the bench, or even a third mid????
if harvey had played this year would u leave him out for geary??
