I was sure it was a broken mouthguard, that was one big tooth.
Definitely a tooth :o
It sure was a tooth that flew out of his mouth not sure if that was a replay of when he went of with the blood rule or later ??

anyway well done guys on your win i thought it was going to be a ripper in the first half till we went flat not sure if any injuries or anything like that happened during game [roughie was later changa getting massaged all game ??] who knows anyway i will have a week off work at end of season and be done with 09 can not wait for 2010 ! this year we are finished i can not see us getting into 8 at all if we do it wont be for long !

who did dawson play on he was on roughie and moved about maybe he went where needed and did not really have an opponent ! ? i am happy to see him doing well and told him i want to see him get that GF medal around his neck !

I have never posted sarcastically about players injuries. Dont see the humour. Why is he the AFL love child. Is it all the frees he gets. Why cant we be happy with one of our greatest wins without laughing at guy losing a tooth. I really wonder about some on this site.
Agree its never nice to gloat over an injured player. I think people might be thinking, "gee, big deal. A tooth".
I can tell you it can be a big deal.
My 17YO daughter had an accident during a CFA training camp in Jan this year and had her two front teeth knocked out.
Over 6 months later, and too many appointments to count with dentists, periodontists and endodontists we are hoping they've managed to save both teeth. Treatment is expected to be finished when she is 20.
Thank God the CFA are wonderful at looking after their members and are paying for all her treatment which has come close to $8000 so far or I don't know what we'd do.
Oh, and she will tell you that having those teeth shoved back in at Casualty was the single most excruciating thing she has ever had to endure.

So yes, it was just a tooth, but that doesn't neccessarily mean it isn't a real injury!

As as Garry Lyon said "a good advertisement for wearing a mouth guard"

Yeah just like Gardi's which makes him look even more intimidating
He does wear a mouth guard he usually puts it in his pants when lining up for goal so it may have come out as well as the tooth !

He was so confident he would get the ball that he took the mouth guard out as the ball was coming out of the centre.

did not see that but any wayif he took it out and did not put it back in he wont make that mistake again i think , his dental bill won't be nice that is for sure .
i don't wish injury on any player no matter which team and injury for those that think it is funny when it happens to the opposition is not funny ! how would you feel if you saw people laughing at your player getting injured ? seriously injured or not seriously injured it is not a laughing matter it is a serious matter ! how would you feel if you got injured and we laugh at your injury !

Apparently they are going to incorporate it into Anzac Day next year.

What a courageous tooth - real Anzac spirit.

Did they find the tooth?
Who kept it or did they give it back?
Is it true that the St Kilda defenders hid it and promised to only give it back if he didn't score a goal?
Will Buddy give it to the tooth fairy or will he try to have it put back in?

Zac fixed up Roughie as well! Should be subtle enough to escape the MRP.
