Kosi's Knee? !!

Post: # 622532Post Eastern »

It appears that Kosi's form has dropped off ever since he hyper-extended his knee. I remember Dr Peter Larkins saying at the time that it must have done significant damage and could have "stretched" the ACL. Nathan Brown said on TFS last night that he thought Kosi looked sore & slow lately so there could be something in it. Also, Kosi is still wearing quite a bit of strapping on the left knee.

Thoughts? Stats? !!

whilst there may be some substance to what you say easter, don't you think its time we stopped making excuses for our players and allow thjem to be accountable for their poor form.

Dunno about the that. Fair enough he would be sore, but aren't all players at this time of year?
He hurt his knee against the Dogs in round 11, he missed 2 games and then came back against the Kangaroos up on the Gold Coast which was arguably his best game for the year. He was also good the following week against Carlton. With Kosi it has to be all mental, he is good enough but rarely looks to be giving his all.

He seems to have periods where he doesn't contest very well and is beaten to the ball a bit too easily.. some kind of attitude thing I reckon.

It's called laziness.

I know all about it, I'm a master at it.

There is something wrong with him. Not showing his true form, but then he has mates in that regard.

lol!

I agree, last week about 1/3 of the team were plain lazy.

I hope they had their arses kicked by the coaching staff!

Aussie has also stated that Kosi plays like he trains.....he's lazy...

I hope we are able to recruit another tall "gun" player and then Kosi's inconsistency won't be so detrimental....

Will we pick up a player in the SSP window :?:

Yep short memory. Best game this year was after hurting his knee. Another excuse IMO.

Could not have taken that run in the last quarter where he ended up passing to Milne who ran into an open goal, if he had a suspect knee. He was not switched on mentally today, with some half-hearted efforts, for some disappointing reason. Maybe he was more concerned about self-preservation.

Yeah so Kosi couldnt be frigged pulling his finger out...no big deal.
Boss Ross saw that he wasnt wired so being the genius that his is put him behind the ball and presto Kosi took a few grabs and felt like contributing.
Yeah he gets lazy but i think today was more about how the ball was getting delivered down forward than how his melon is ticking over. Let it be said that come deep Sept time he will be the man to stand up and play his part. We do have the luxury of swinging him into the ruck or down back if things are looking a bit lazy town but with Roo taking a bit of heat off him and with correct delivery to him he will be right as rain...have faith peoples Kosi has got plenty of tricks up his long sleeves !
