Well done mate. Loved the emotion at the end.

He wanted it bad and really stuck it up his former team in the best possible way.

Go Saints!

The ultimate in revenge to that souless creature Alistair Clarkeson.

Well done Zac, you're on the way to being a cult hero for the Saints.

Don't forget the input from SOS.

And somebody please remind me how many Buddy, the AFL's Love Child kicked today on the Zackinator? :)

As I said on the match thread, Zac should find Buddy's tooth and sell it on E Bay.

Did anyone else notice every time the camera cut to SOS, the look of a man possessed, was on his face.It was almost as if he was on the ground willing us to win, through thought alone. Have always respected the great man, champion footballer....and always be considered ,and rightly so, one of Carlton's best, but today he was pure Sainter's through and through....I always wonder what champions of one team that moves onto another ,what sort of loyalty would they bring to the table.

He answered my question with a single look.

you could see the same look on zac's face at the game's end...and the look of pure joy on kingy's face whilst singing the song was something worth seeing........

Sorry for spamming but
Earlier I picked up how rapt Zac was...

what I missed was him kissing his Saints crest just after the win.

Awesome Dawson

Brilliant Zac - maybe in our top eight or nine players today i'd say. Holding buddy goalless is something that has only occured once in the last two years I think. (someone can verify this)

Think Maxy took turns on Buddy as well but yes outstanding work by our new full back.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Yes, that was the case. If Buddy moved up the ground, Zac went with him, but if he went back to the square, Max went with him. Jason Blake had a few turns as well. The back six, no matter who they are, seem to have things beautifully organised regarding match ups. And yes, Stephen Silvagni must take much of the coaching credit for this. He is determined not to smile until some time late in the day on the 26th September.

Loved Zac's reaction after the game; and Colm's little acknowledgement of Bakes during the song. :D

SOS was on 3AW on saturday and was asked whether he was going to put up his hand for a coaching gig.

His words were not this year or next. My contract does not run out till end of next year,

and Lyon and i are good friends as well

Agree...SOS in the best defensive "line" coach in the comp by a street

Just one thing tho..we have to remember this thread and try not to grizzle too much if Harv's publically declares any loyalty to Carlton (much as it will hurt of course)

Cant have our cake and eat it too :-)

Well, he should be feeling the love here.

Such amazing improvement.

Hawthorn absolutely failed him.
