Minor Premiership as good as ours
Steven gets a run, we'll see if Geary is worth having on board in the finals.
If we lose, no biggie. We have finals to play, 18 wins has given us that. Full strength in finals we'll smash Hawthorn. They are woeful. There will be no problems.
If we win, we are officially the best team ever. And we'll know that. If you took Brown, Voss, Black, Power and Lappin out of Brisbane, they wouldn't have won anything.
Seriously, our 4 best players, plus Baker who is never a small out. Honestly I can see the worry, but remember, 4 weeks from now is what matters after 18 straight. Not now.
Honestly, this will show the team ethic shining through, not to mention our depth. Ball, Dal Santo, Jones, Ray, Gram, McQualter, Geary and Steven will try their hearts out on the weekend and I reckon a lineup like that will give most sides a shake.
It will be nice to see the tactical shakeup too, and how well the team can adapt. Expect to see Dawson taking Goddard's role as playmaker out of Half-Back with long kicking.
This is equivalent to Geelong's other loss. Only our outs are leagues and leagues worse than theirs.
