80 - 49 five minutes into the last.
Bally still on the bench. Commentators speculating that he has some kind of injury.

My mate said Armo's been the pick and Steven seems to be going quite well. Said Choo Choo is finding it tough at this level with the bigger bodies but has just had 4 touches in the first 3 mins of last quarter.

Ball copped a heavy knocked to the chest...should be of too much concern.

Lynch, shoulder strapped, has just run back on

Still on the bench. Likely that he's injured in some way.

Are Maguire and Lynch still on the bench? Haven't heard them mentioned in the last quarter.

Lynch just tackled someone so he must be on the field...

Who's got the wind? Sounds like Bendigo are dominating...

Sandy have the wind but Bombers are dominating.
Sautner kicks a sealer 86 - 67 . Five to go.
Goose and Bally both off for the entire last quarter. No report on why.

Perhaps they are being rested with a 6 day break to Hawthorn game?

Love your optimism. Don't think that's the reason though.

Final score:
Bendigo 12.8.80
Sandringham 14.15.99

Nick Heyne kicked 5 goals, still no reasoning for Ball and Maguire spending the last quarter on the bench...

Well done Zebs!
Let's hope we can continue winning run.
Is good to have both teams i nthe finals so the whole squad has match fitness.
Wonder if Milne gets rubbed is Jack S would be an option in a pocket? Or even Heyne?

Missed the last ten minutes but from what I saw of the injuries...

Goose had a mattress of ice on his right hammy. Came off early in the second and didn't get back on.

Miles rolled an ankle. Didn't come back on.

Lynch had an injury to his right shoulder, got it heavily strapped and went back on.

Bally, I didn't see the incident but asked someone else and they said he copped a heavy knock to the chest.

PS Bally came off in the third and hadn't looked like getting off the bench with about ten to go in the last - physio and doc spent a lot of time with him.

I love hearing about all these new players... Tungatulum, Heyne, Lynch, Simpkin, Smith, Stanley... I want them all to work out.

I really should get down to a VFL game one of these days.
