What is this, pre-school?

And how are things over at BomberBlitz?

Blake - Dawson - Baker
R. Clarke - S. Fisher - Gilbert

Even assuming Max does retire, there's no guarantee of a spot in the 22 for Goose once Max is gone. Blake, Clarke and Fisher are all about the same height as Goose and much more mobile. Dawson and Gilbert are a bit taller and much more mobile.

I don't see a spot for Goose in this defence. Another club might look at him as an answer to their problems either down back or up forward. If they're willing to part with a good pick for a surplus player, we'd be mad not to consider it. It may be the best thing for all involved parties if he moves on.

I'll be saddened if he does go, as he's been a personal favourite. There's no point in compromising selection just to keep him here. If he goes, he goes. We're 17-0 without him. I think we'll survive.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

Sorry, but you've just posted from the same IP as wolfpak.

You're him. End of story.

Whilst i am not keen to agree with wolfpack, I to would like to see Goose get a game at some stage this year, in principal I agree with all the reasons that he hasnt or shouldnt get a game, however a part of me wants to see him have a chance to prove himself. I still beleive he is a better footballer than Blake or Dawson and do not beleive he is as slow as many make out.

As for Ball I have every confidence that he will be back by round 20.

Maybe this year?
