Re: Goose
Luke Ball has missed 2 weeks. Not sure you can compare him with Goose. Anyway if Goose leaves so be it. I am not sure when you are trying to win a flag you play a guy that doesnt deserve a game so he will stay next year and even if he played a game or two that will not stop him from leaving if he wants to.Wolfpak wrote:Seems a few clubs have shown interest in matty, Hawthorn, Carlton and Geelong. We must play him soon or he will leave the club. Same with Luke Ball.
I am into a conspiracy theory here though Goose goes out with Bally's sister and neither are playing. RL once had a fight with Peter Russo. Very interesting.

Goose won't get a game until he earns it....this is a tired topic, who would you drop for him?Wolfpak wrote:Seems a few clubs have shown interest in matty, Hawthorn, Carlton and Geelong. We must play him soon or he will leave the club. Same with Luke Ball.

It's a tough business, and it doesn't mean Goose should get an automatic game..if he was killing them every week in the VFL, he would be in the seniors now, but he is not setting the world on fire. Bally was sent to the VFL to work on some aspects of his game that RL wanted from him according to Roo on TV the other night. The message is clear, you must be fully fit, fully in form, and have exactly the right skills for the team that RL is getting ready for a crack at the flag. Goose and Bally may still get a game depending in injuries or a sudden loss of form by some players, but RL will not change the winning formula.

Goose
depends how much $$$ goose is on.
remember we need xtra room for (at least) zac, gilbo, mcevoy, lynch, stanley, steven, geary in next year (or 2).
we we will only lose max, kingy and bakes in next year (or 2).
thats (at least) 7 pay rises for 3 pay cuts.
bally might also need to take a $ cut.

Agreed. Retaining the services of Luke Ball and Matt Maguire in the red, white and black is far more important than trying to place the team in the best possible shape for a tilt at the premiership flag.....Wolfpak wrote:Seems a few clubs have shown interest in matty, Hawthorn, Carlton and Geelong. Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...

This, from the genius who predicted a massive loss to the Bulldogs last week.Wolfpak wrote:Seems a few clubs have shown interest in matty, Hawthorn, Carlton and Geelong. We must play him soon or he will leave the club. Same with Luke Ball.
Welcome back, Wolfy! Finished sucking rotten eggs?
So reverse logic indicates that Ball and Goose are not going anywhere!
Would you?
Hell, I'd want to stick around for a chance to be a part of St. Kilda's 3rd premiership!

You're correct.Wolfpak wrote:All you f****** morons, im just making a comment that's all. You are all a bunch of idiots. Last week everyone wanted goose to play, gee how things have changed. All you couch potato twits, get a life. All your comments arnt worth a pinch of s***. Wake up to your selves.
Afterall we wouldn't want to repeat the selection disastes of last week would we?
BTW, how much is a 'pinch of s***' worth?
Is it worth more or less than your opinions have been over the last week or so?
Now that's not very nice, I responded to your post with a legitimate comment, yet you collectively call us all rude names.Wolfpak wrote:All you f****** morons, im just making a comment that's all. Throw a few stones, stir up dismay... and disappear.
Wake up, huh? Don't kid yourself that we haven't woken up to you.

Think wolfpak made a good comment. Everyone seems to rubbish his posts but he is 75% right most times. All he did was make a comment on what was on a website and yet people call him a poof and idiot and so on. I dont want to see ball or Maguire go anywhere else. This is a forum, so people are free to make whatever comment they want.

Ooh, looky! Another new poster.
Either someone is sprouting multiple personalities tonight, or this is what you get when your team goes 17-zip. Trollsville.
