So have we beaten anyone yet?
I mean we still haven't beaten one team ahead of us and we still have the premiers to play.
Really must be the worst performed 14-0 Saints team in history.
I say after our terrible win today (I mean to squander a 5 goal lead to Geelong is just not good enough) we need at least 5 changes.
Roo must go - doesn't try hard enough or run nearly as far as he should
Lenny - just isn't hard enough
Gilbo - doesn't man up
Schnieder - for the four goals he kicked against us in 2005: and
bj - kicking not penetrating enough.
To lose a 5 goal lead - hmmmm - we play like that against the good teams in the comp (next week we have WCE remember) and we wont win.
So really 14-0 in actual fact is pretty poor.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Wouldn't know a game of football if it crawled up their colletive arses.

Re: So have we beaten anyone yet?
Don't worry about it. I love the fact that they under rate us (being the media and the rest of the football world). It plays right into our hands. We know how good this team is and what they are capable of. Even the umpires gifting them goals didn't faze this team.joffaboy wrote:I mean we still haven't beaten one team ahead of us and we still have the premiers to play.

Remember, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. All we should have our eye on at the moment is the premiership cup.

Nuh - how could they?BakesFan wrote:Do The Crows and The Doggies count as anyone?
The media certainly thought so over the past 2 weeks.
All we can beat is team below us on the ladder.
Apparently our big test will be when we have and intra-club.

Part of the problem is that we make good teams look poor.
If anyone had said prior to the Geelong game that we would win the next 4 and comprehensively beat Adelaide and Footscray, then surely that would have been evidence enough that we are the real deal.
But then we smash Adelaide and Footscray and the reaction then seems to be that maybe those two teams aren't really as good as everyone thought, so the achievement in beating them is not as great.
It's a bit of a no-win situation.
