I hope hes training the house down i really do, his body in the packs is inspiring to watch, his hit late in the game 2 weeks ago was just bone crunching and as brave as can be.
I dont doubt his mettle for a minute but i just wonder about the OP if its holding him back is he just being freshened up or is his form that bad or was it his attitude and Ross has given him the Milne Dal treatment.
Whatever he will be back.

If OP is his problem, he shouldn't be kicking goals from outside 50, as he has been the past couple of weeks at training.claystreet wrote:I hope hes training the house down i really do, his body in the packs is inspiring to watch, his hit late in the game 2 weeks ago was just bone crunching and as brave as can be.

Obviously something Ross is not happy with, but I'm sure Bally will turn it around quickly. Looking forward to see how he goes at Sandy this week.

Well should be dirty on himself.ThePunter wrote:My mail is that he is fine physically, but really dirty on everyone for being dropped.
Fancy not doing what the coach wants in a team that is 16-0. Mabye he should go back and ask Goose what it is like to play all year at Sandy, or Colm Begley who was favoured by most of us who saw him and Zac play in Feb, or Max for that matter.
If he wants to be part of this team, he needs to get his finger out and get back in.
And I tell you one thing for free, if he does get back in, look out competition.
A steely eyed fired up Luke Ball at the top of his game would be awesome.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

the guy is totally out of form. Add to that he seems to not have done what the coach has wanted. Big choice for him, work his butt of and get back into the team. Or sulk.ThePunter wrote:My mail is that he is fine physically, but really dirty on everyone for being dropped.
I remember a certain forward pocket first rounder who was really dsapointed with being dropped, sulked in the reserves and ended up being delisted. Thankfully he showed enugh to rookie and has worked his butt off to get back in the team. Ball needs to do the same but sooner. he's quality so I back him to do this

if he is fine physically thaen it his fault to not conforming to rules etc
FFS we are 16-0 if he wants to play in the team that is heading towards finals, then he should be working his butt off to come back in.

What do people know?
FWIW, I simply think he looks slow across the turf. Should that be construed as laziness and therefore a rule breach? Far as I can see he remains as brave and hard as ever.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
