Just back from training!

Wasn't too bad! They seemed to have split the boys into two sessions with VFL boys training at 1pm then seniors at 2pm. Goose seemed to be in the VFL session, hope that doesn't mean he won't be included this week.

Saw Gardy he was having a bit of a jog around the ground and bouncing a ball.

Kosi appeared with his hand still bandaged up. They seemed to be making him a glove to wear.

Not really that much to report on really.

Maxy and Bally were there.

yeah, Bally was in the vfl part of the training, and did a heap of work with these guys, practicing kick-ins, then after that, him and 4 others where doing a lot of running work, still doing that when I left at like 3... he's busting his gut to get back into the side!

He has been doing that for the last week and half to get him back to full fitness.

well yeah, sherlock, of course he has, compared to the others, doing it for their fitness, you could see his desperation in everything he did, as he didn't have a vfl game to show his stuff. gotta make the training count.

The club are making him do it to get fit again. Doesnt matter how hard you want to train if the club so no training then you dont train. Gone are the days you decide how hard you want to train.

Clearly if the club are making Ball train at full tilt, any question regarding injury as the 'real' reason he was dropped is cleared up...

If he has a niggle, or something more, he would not be punished at a mid week session... Seems he has to lift his game...

A sore spot that keeps you from extending yourself to your normal or full capacity.

Do you work for the Herald-Sun?

They are still pushing for Goose.

I really hope he doesn't play this week - save his 100th game for the North or Dees game to play it safe (but I can't see him as a finals prospect).

I don't work for the HS.

Just would love to see Goose get back to the game before finals and get a few games into his belt. Isn't that what everyone is wishing for? For him to be fit and firing!
