I would like to think this way...evertonfc wrote:Max for Dawson.
Maguire for Koschitzke.
Done
kosi out for McEvoy (playing FF)
Gardner in (if fit)
if not McEvoy stays as our second ruck
Max in at FB with Zac as FF
(if Dawson wins appeal.)
I really am fed up with this Goose in each and every week.
In fact maybe Lynch would be a better option as a forward than Goose

Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
More importantly, the ball was in the immediate vicinity, not 40 metres away. Fair shepherd that IF anything, would have been a 50m penalty on the day.plugger66 wrote:Reckon dawson will have a go at his. Wasnt head high. Think he should be right. Think Kosi should just take a week. His eyes were on the player not the ball. he is going to miss with injury and i know it is better he didnt get reported but it looked deliberate.

hi everyone,
i'm a long time reader and first time poster. i was just so outraged at the news of zacs report that i had to vent my frustration! The MRP is a total farce, how can they book zac for two weeks yet in the same breath clear that west coast bump? it's almost comical! i really hope he appeals the decision, what a joke.

I just went and rewatched the Dawson bump a couple of times.
I am not sure that it is a week but it is not good. The Adelaide player is standing the mark. You can't allow hits on players like that who are just standing the mark.
It brings up all that discussion on players anticipating a hit. I think if you are just standing the mark you should not have to anticipate a hit.
Different kettle of fish if it is a shepherd, but this one is not.

Was that Glass? I thought that one was good watching that game on TV. He ran past the ball, but he didn't collect him high or anything. I haven't seen the Dawson one on replay yet, and I can't remember it from the game, so I can't really comment on that. But if you're talking about the Glass hit on Westhoff, it was very nice.Wolfpak wrote:Also showed a west coast player, which was worse and he gets off..

I must have been watching a different game. I love Zac. He's hard at it, determined and has the guts we need, but he took the guy out off the ball. He was way too late, and it was unesseccary. Just happened to have my eye on him when it happened and said at the time he could be in trouble.
Sorry, just trying to be objective and that's what I saw.
Like I said, I love Zaccy. Hope this doesn't make him rethink how he's been playing. He's been great this year.

True, BUT....saintsRrising wrote:Nota bad week for Zac to be out as the Dogs do not have a big forward line.
Does he deserve to be suspended???
Can Max come in and Zac go to FF in place of Kosi???
Whoever plays FF he will have a hard time against Brain Lake in any case.
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
lets hypothesis, that both get rubbed out.
max doesn't need to come in, backline is solid, gives him extra time.
we can bring in goose as full foward.
or use McEvoy,
BUT
lake will play on whoever is at FF
not on ROO
so i think its best to take someone down there, that will make him very accountable,
my first thought
BJ.
is the obvious choice for mine.

Meh. If we can cover Zac this week, we can cover him next week. As for Kosi, he gets reported, or very close to it how many times a year? Challenge it.plugger66 wrote:More points and extra weeks.degruch wrote:Contest them both...what have we got to lose???savatage wrote:Yep!The Fireman wrote:Kosi....Gorn.

Kosi is getting two weeks guys.
He has carry over points and CANNOT get his charge reduced.
