All of the above was written with tongue firmly planted in cheek.
I probably would have said the same usually without tongue in cheek but I really sense a change in the things that would normally cause that. The Club culture, attitude etc seems to be totally different .
For the first time I even hear opposition players and coaches etc referring to us as a very good or very professional football Club not team which I can never remember before ( it almost sounds a bit strange but I love it ).
I feel this time we will be going in more prepared covering all our bases far better than ever before.
After years of being let down, traumatised and left shattered I can't but feel this year is different. Every time there's been a chance for things to go wrong we've found a way through. Things keep falling into place. We play well when we need to, other teams lose when we need them to. This is the best chance we've had in 43 years. I hope they're building a big trophy cabinet in Frankston.
