19 possessions, no impact on the match. Who was on him? (Baker?)
CJ was on Vince I think (also 19 touches)
Great work Saints

He has two premiership medallions to go with his two Norm Smith Medallions, so I wouldn't stick the boots in too hard. He has been a fantastic player for more than a decade, but his time has come.

Wasn't sticking the boots in, was just commenting that the Saints did well to restrict his impact. He's the sort of player you don't want getting into the game too much.perfectionist wrote:He has two premiership medallions to go with his two Norm Smith Medallions, so I would'nt stick the boots in too hard. No I think CJ was on the bench.
Did a great stopping job again.
Kept the Adelaide bench to zero possessions.

most surpirsed he had as many as 19 possessions. i reckon a majority of them would have been quite ineffective. haven't watched adelaide much this year, has he actually still been a good contributor for them?
speaking of big names having no impact, brett burton looks finished as an afl player. he looked like a headless chicken. seemed to have no idea on how to read the play.

Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
Yeah, I just assumed McLeod was still one of their danger players - so I was happy that he was so ineffectual.Sainternist wrote:most surpirsed he had as many as 19 possessions. i reckon a majority of them would have been quite ineffective. haven't watched adelaide much this year, has he actually still been a good contributor for them?

As for Burton, he hasn't played AFL in 12 months. I guess he needs to get used to the pace of AFL again.

Better rest him.TassieJones wrote:Yeah Baker was on him, absolutely toweled him up. Wonder if anyone still wants him dropped
Well done Bakes. Whoever was on Porpise did a great job too.
McLeod dropped, eh? Sounds like a great idea, what with Showdown XXMCIIV coming up and all. Nice to know we don't own the copywrite on underrating the teams good players.
