next week is an 8 point game!

if we beat the Western Bulldogs next week we cannot mathematically end up anywhere but top 2 ... we would be 6 games ahead with 5 games to play ...

if we lose, they will be 4 games behind us with 5 games to play ...

who would think that this would be an 8 point game!

For every game of football played in the VFL/AFL the winner has received
4 points,not 8,hence ,there is no such thing as an 8 point game......


Will we pick up a player in the SSP window :?:

i am just making fun of the 8 point game concept.

in case you haven't noticed ... we are in pretty good form and should win one or maybe two of our last six matches ... making our top 2 finish safe.

I do think it is a massive game for them though with the Saints,Brisbane (Gabba), Geelong and Collingwood to come in their last 6 games.

One,it cements dogs in 3rd,making them the likely opponent of Geelong week one which they are every chance to beat.
Two,it will allow us to play one of either Collingwood,Adelaide,Brisbane week one.

We tank this week
