Kosi out

Post: # 777816Post ytw »

Kosi will apparently miss a week due to the split webbing.

Should be interesting to see who comes in to play deep forward for next week against the dogs.

Guesses?

The game only just ended mate. He MIGHT miss a week but he might not.

If he goes out id say bring Goose in at full foward and the second marking target

They usually stich up a split webbing but it can re-open if he comes back too soon. Wise policy to miss at least one week and possibly a second. He is too valuable not to allow the right amount of time so as to let it heal 100%.

If he's out McEvoy will play forward.

I'd bring in another strong marking key position player for him. one that can split packs.

Goose.

you'd think this would be the PERFECT opportunity to give Goose a run and see if he's still up to it

Another option would be bj to ff, but he's been great as a utility all season so why stuff with the structure. I'd go goose for kosi as a like-for-like and before anyone gives me "too slow" kosi is hardly a racehorse.

Which isn't to say he's not a valuable foil for riewoldt and an important part of the structure

The sen crew said Kosi should be ok to play depending on the MRP

Nothing in the Kosi incident, so he'll get six weeks. Only Geelong players are permitted to elbow players in the head and get away with it. The MRP is an absolute joke and to understand why you need to look at its personnel. Whilst the penalties are codified the decision to charge is not.

If Gardiner is fit I would bring him in to play the second tall and leave King and McEvoy to play in the ruck.

The way Gardi has been cluncking them lately, he would severley stretch the Dogs backline.

Kosi has been suspended the last two Round 16s. His hangover points expire after the MRP has done it's work tomorrow. If he is cited, he will get at least a week no matter how minor the offence is graded.

I'd love to see Goose come in if Kosi misses.

I'd have gardy in there playing permanent FF.
