Pull your head in! Away teams seldom go up to their fans and thank them. Why don't you harden up and stop sooking! There is just no pleasing some.

The way they are playing this year all the thanks should be going their way.

Actually did the same up here at Carrara against the Demons. I was surprised and a bit disappointed.

As much as I wasn't a huge GT fan as coach, he was big on the Importance of respecting supporters and involving players with them when travelling interstate win, lose or draw. Well up here anyway.

I always admired that.

I thought I heard them on radio commenting at how the saints had gone to thank their loyal fans?

Yeah, and I'm so pissed off that they don't personally thank me every week.

You all should be thanking them, not vice versa.

They are focused and not there for the self gratification of the hangers on.
Supporters, it only goes one way not the other. Look it up in the dictionary.

We do. We clap and support them for 120 minutes and thank them after the final siren.

I don't think it's too much to acknowledge the supporters who have spent a lot of their money and travelled up to 3000 klms to support them.

Little disapointed. Its alright for some of you lot but this was their only trip west this year. Plus my girlfriend who im just getting into footy had her camera at the ready for a close shot of some players.

I must say that was very disappointing as they normally do. My daughter ( the traitpr docker) says it is security that stops them coming that none of the teams are allowed to.

Heard a few comments about this from disgruntled fans after the game. Can't say I blame them really, they looked pretty buggered (the players that is), but I can understand where some are coming from. BTW, it doesn't just go one way. We pay their wages after all.

BTW, was that you sitting behind me today Michelle? I had my daughter in her St Kilda guernsey and her hair braided. Someone called Michelle was there, and her voice was not doing too great by the end.

What a pedantic thread. After the start tjese guys have given us, they owe us nothing (well except a premiership but they're trying.)

Those wee girl supporting security really are bitter twisted sore losers.

Not sure about that.....after Bangers 350th they went down behind the goals en masse

If it was an oversight its an isolated one...I reckon they are pretty good at acknowledging the fans at Interstate games

yeah :(
i asked about 6 or 7 players after the game as they were leaving the change rooms, o\i just wanted to see if they had the same excuse of if they were going to make rubbish up because the couldnt be fu..ed walking up to our end.
half of them said they forgot and then got reminded as they were walking up the race, but would be too embarrassing to come back out to us so they didnt. and the other half said its been a big 2 weeks with the media on them they sort of forgot for a bit and really didnt have time as they had to be in and out of the rooms with in 20-30 mins, that includes showers, interviews etc..
milney was very nice thought, made time to stop, put his bag down and have a chat. he said the players appreciate the support the cheer squad put in for them, and all the perth saints fans. he also said it sounded like there were thousands more saints fans this year compared to last, is that because now we are winning we have found our voices or did the WA saints get more tickets or something? it did sound pretty loud from where i was
CJ was also very nice, stopped for a min or two.
one person who didnt have time to chat was Gardiner  i asked why they didnt come down and he kept walking and just said "ha" :?

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
