Is it OK to wear your saints scarf to work this week?

Post: # 769681Post thecroc »

Well - I'm going to whether they call me a tosser or not.

Anybody else going to or are you going to be weak kneeed and 'conform' because you don't want to harm your promotional prospects ; ?

Interesting to hear what serious excuses people might have to not wearing the scarf? The Grand Final isn't the only time to wear it to work?

Cheers

Don't do it.

Will look like we think yesterday was our GF. It's only half time against Geelong.

I started work in a new office recently, and obviously not everyone knows of my passion for all things Saint...

I just listened to a spray levelled at Saints and Saints supporters given out by two Collingwood supporters...without them knowing who I support!

They were discussing the fact that "they couldn't believe it, but they actually brought themselves to barrack for the Cats yesterday. Hate the Saints, hate their supporters more, parasites, bandwagoners, arrogant, won't be able to perform on the wide open spaces of the G. Apparently Kosi is over-rated, Gardiner will break down and Roo gets the rub of the green from the Umps..."

And guess what, they hate Milney and called him - yep.

One could only hold one's tongue for so long before the spray came back ten-fold.

Good impression at the new office, it's gone very quiet... 8-)

So maybe I'll leave the scarf thing a little while...

Was thinking of wearing the scarf today but decided no, LID FIRMLY ON!
I wear the same polo top on game day but that's as far as I go. Polo top on straight after work for weekday night games.

I wore my StK tie today.

Copped lots of flak.
But told everyone the lid is OFF.
11 games to go.

Might be setting up for a fall but I believe in this team.
Best StK team I have seen in my 40+ years of watching.

i wouldve said nothing, not one word
and then rocked up with the scarf on the next day....
and if they actually said anything to me.....
the reply wouldve been something along the lines of
"what?...no abuse to saints supporters, apparently u hate them worse than the actual side....so, got anything to say u low life filthy scum cheating supporter?.....no, thought not, just like your side...when the going gets hot u melt and crawl back under the rock you came from"
or something like that........

Went shopping yesterday, and saw heaps of Saints hats, shirts and scarves :D

My little guy has a teddy that I have put a saints top on, causes a lot of conversation. People ask him about his teddy, and he promptly starts clapping and singing his version of the song "shaints marning in" which is pretty adorable....
