PERFECT Timing !!

Post: # 768953Post Eastern »

We played in and WON that game today in front of 54,444 (a record for the Dome). All this 5 days before clubs need to submit their "Wish-Lists" for the 2010 FIXture.

Surely today's game helps us to get a better commercial deal for 2010. I'll compile a "Wish-List" later in the week !!

This one game yes....would have been better at the MCG with a massive crowd of 70,000 +.

However....the crowd numbers have been very low this year....before this game the average crowd at our home games was around the 30,000 mark, the 4th lowest in the league.

Let's hope the stands fill for the rest of the home games.

When given the opportunity we CAN Draw a crowd;

54,000 v Geelong

47,000 v Collingwood (on a Monday Night)

48,000 v Essendon (Sunday Twilight)

50,000 v Carlton

Home game v Swans, WCE & Freo drag our average down.

10,000 v Melb on the Gold Coast also drops our average. We've also played Dogs & Roos who are poor drawing sides !!
