We still need the third "Elliott" and his number, and Robert Elliotts correct number.

Thats correct St Craig, but we still need the "Third" Elliott brother. Seems harder to name than the 4th & 5th Marx brother.

Robert Elliott wore No's 13 & 36
B Elliott (maybe Bruce or Brian) No 45
Daryl Cunningham No 26

Hey Selhurst...

It's been about 20 hours.....

Am I right with my answer???

Going to head off to the footy in a couple of hours.....

I got a feeling I’m right, with my answer. Apologies if I am wrong, but I am leaving shortly for the footy and want to leave a question……

The Night Series competition commenced in 1956 at Albert Park and continued at Albert Park until 1971.

I had mentioned before that the Saints won the 1940 Lighting Premiership, but….

What year was our next title? (our first night series premiership)

During this game, play was delayed at one stage, when a player chased an animal off the field…….

What type of animal interrupted the match?

We won the Night Grand Final in 1958 by 8 points against Carlton (The same team we would secure our second night series flag against 38 years later.)
Final score was 16.13.109 to 15.11.101
I think a dog ran onto the ground and held up play. Could be wrong though.

I’ll give it to you HD……

It was actually a BLACK CAT

The Carlton full back chased it off the ground

hehehe maybe thats why we won

Just for the record St.Fid, you are correct. The third brother was "Bruce". He didn't play seniors at St.Kilda but the three Elliotts eventually all played in the same team at Melbourne.

Since 1989 7 St.Kilda players have kicked 9 or more goals in a match.
Can you name the 7???

Tony Lockett
Stewart Loewe
Craig O'Brien
Peter Everitt
Jason Heatly
Fraser Gehrig
Brent Guerra
Nick Riewoldt

Thats actually 8, but I'm pretty sure all are correct. Lockett, Loewe and Winmar all had many bags of 7+, Craig O'Brien scored 7.4, in a loss to Geelong at Kardinia Park in R12 of 1994, Everitt scored 7.7 in a win over the Crows at Waverly in '96 (R22), and Heatly had 3 bags over 7, all scotred in the 1997 season. He baqged 9.1 against North at Waverly (R14), 7.3 over the Demons at the MCG (R21), and 7 strait, again at the G, over North Melbourne in that memorable Second Preliminary Final. All were wins.
Of course, we all remember the bags of goals the latter three current players have had, which have been in the last 2 seasons.

you may be right riccardo but i'll put mine in (adjusted

Riewoldt - a few times, 9 against Melb
Gherig - many times
Loewe - Can't remember specifics, but would have
Guerra - Did agaisnt Wet Toast last year
Heatley - Pretty sre he did
Hall - A guess, but likely

My last one is hard, i think it's winmar.
however did milne do it? or am i imagining things? it may have just been a wizard cup game or something

Riccardo and Milnedog, I think you are a little off track. The question was who has kicked nine goals, not seven.

I would go with
Lockett numerous times
Everitt v cats 2000
Heatley v roos 97 round 14
Loewe at least once
Winmar v Melbourne in 89 or 90
Gehrig loves playing the roos
Reiwoldt v Demons last year.

Gotta love the Blake!

Completely confused myself witrh conflicting numbers, and how could I have left out Winmar, yet noted Craig O'Briens effort?

Put it down to fatigue after a big Saturday, well done Jed. :D

Who was the last AFL team to win games against Collingwood at Victoria Park and Carlton at Princes Park in the same season?

What year?
