Just wondering how long people think we have to challenge for a flag?
At the start of the year i thought this would be the last year with our ruckmen getting older but they have been in good form and if they hold up for a couple years we could be a strong team for a while.
I reckon we're gonna be very Sydney like for a while. 5-6 years easy.
Who we gonna lose in that time? MG and King are easily enough replaced by Stanley and Macca in 2-3 years. Dawson is a perfect replacement for Max. Baker isn't irreplaceable anymore, Jones is playing no.1 tagger now anyway.
Lenny's irreplaceable, but still has 4-5 years left. With Armo or Steven replacing him.
We should have a decent shot at the flag for at least 3 years, and I dont think we'll be goin down the bottom for a while either.
will we have the same players in a few years?
what about coaching staff?
new medical and training breakthrus?
players being traded?
whats the drafts gonna be like? (shithouse for the next 2 years as we know)
