What's wrong with people's brains FFS.

The Raph Clarke selection has nothing to do with him being aboriginal, neither is the response on here.

Raph was selected because he provides some mobility and can be a very damaging rebounder...we have looked a bit more cumbersome of late so it's a good move.

He can play the game, get behind him, we also might win tomorrow....with or without Raph Clarke.

And how many selection blunders has ross truelly made this year? Far out.

lf any of these players play forward Travis Varcoe, Gary Ablett, Steve Johnson, Paul Chapman, Max Rooke , Mathew Stokes, Shannon Byrnes...who would Goose be able to take?

Answer is nobody...and this is why Raph is in.

Max could take many of them...but he is not fit.

Raph also has an attacking upside.....Max does not.

Channel 10 are talking about one change at each team. Is that a late change or are they referring to Clarke for Hudghton?

Details to come.

Good point SR!

I was calling for Goose to come in but probably not the best week based on what you have pointed out.
Miles has been mentioned but what about Eddy?

Go Raph!
Hope you have a blinder.

Just saying Eddy didn't play. Standard procedure isn't it?

Yeah last week Gwilt didn't play for Sandy on the Saturday, no change come sunday. Not saying it will definitely be the same this week, but yeah I would think it's common practice to rest an emergency when you don't play on the same day.

it has been standard for the saints this year- would need to rack my mind to remember last year-
But when the Zebras have played the day before the Saints ( unless we're interstate) then they have played 2 of the three reserved/ emergency players and saved one - for the unlikely event-
one time when this was nearly the case was the final last year when the saints got fined for warming up a player when lenny was touch and go.

when interstate they obviously can't make the decision late enough- - ie next week they may/ will/ will possibly take two or even all three as the team will fly out Friday I'm guessing.

Your missing the point. The COACH has shown confidence in him. Get behind Raph tomorrow instead of sniping at him. Don't get me wrong, I have concerns in regards to his form to date, but I will be behind him 100% tomorrow and hope he has a blinder.
I'm not missing the point mate.
Only Raph can prove his worth, I hope he has a blinder but past history leans against that. Ross may be trying him out against the Cats to see how he matches up this time.
As I said I hope he goes well but would rather see Gwilt or Goose in his place.
If he proves me wrong I will revisit this post to happily apologise
Cheers
If anything I am least a man of my word.
Raph went ok, still made a couple of errors but hard to say he didnt earn his spot.
Im not sure this is an apology , ...and Im not sure if I was wrong.
still stoked about the win though.
