How many? Medallion Club
the unknown for this weeks crowd will be how many medallion seats remain empty.
and or reserved seat holders who don't come, or can't come.
I know there were 5 seats near me last sunday and several empty behind.

Nothing wrong with that when the seat is occupied during a St Kilda game.Sainter_Dad wrote:yes we are - is there anything wrong with that?Moccha wrote:so you're a Medallion club member?

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

$110.00 per seat per game (all games except Essendon), $170.00 for 11 game membership for me as well as $125.00 for Social Club membership and $55.00 for Sainter_Boy's Squadron and $58.00 for Social Club. This year $4,698.00.ace wrote:Nothing wrong with that when the seat is occupied during a St Kilda game.Sainter_Dad wrote:yes we are - is there anything wrong with that?Moccha wrote:so you're a Medallion club member?

To support my Sainters - to have my wife at the football - it is the only way that I can get her there (She is a Bluebagger after all). Wonderfull entertainment for three people over 6 hours every weekend - we drive in - stop for dinner on the way or way home - donations to the club and a wonderful tradition being passed on to my 9 yo (who is already a Silver member).
And to yell until I leave my voice at the dome - all from fantastic seats on the 50metre arc lockett end - front row - look for the big black flag!

They are great seats. I have sat in roughly the same location as you a couple of times this year Sainter dad. My 9 year old daughter wants to know why we just don't sit there every week. I only sit there when mates of mine who are medallion members lend them out.
Wouldn't mind sitting there this week though. I could only get standing room tickets The most I could get was 2 tickets at a time which covered my wife and my daughter, whilst I'm up the back with my mates. I'm going to have to arrive at the ground by 2pm to get a good spot. If I win tatts tonight I may just buy a few medallion seats for myself each year

Look in my opinion, Medallion Club seats, are not the worth the money you pay for them. However if you get the chance to sit there for free, take it. Sometimes it feels like if you reach over the handrails you can grab the footy yourself.
The other thing is, and I'm not sure what sainter dad's opinion on this is, but often the corporate types who sit there aren't as vocal, so you're not right in amongst it. One good thing about SR is that you are definitely in amongst it - but the view can be ordinary. I reckon they're ideal if you have a young family - as the kids get a great view, and the language isn't all that severe. And the bar is loooong.

Re: How many? Medallion Club
I think you will find the Medallion club will be almost packed to capacity (very surprised if it wasn't). I know that the 300 Club reserved nearly all of the Level 2 dining room before it was available to Social Club Members (except for 20-40 seats). When chatting to the club and Etihad in regards to this, both of them said this is highly unusual and don't expect it to happen for another home and away game for quite some time. There is MASSIVE interest in this game and it will be one that most supporters won't want to miss!saintbrat wrote:the unknown for this weeks crowd will be how many medallion seats remain empty.
