Tactically a standout - cool under pressure and doesnt get fazed.

Makes decisions Id tip based on logic/rationale - not into emotive drivel.

Good coach. Finally we have the complete package.

during the 90 -91 season at Highbury there was a banner each weeks that simply said: George Knows
referring to George Graham the then Arsenal manager.
I reckon it's time to resurrect this for Ross.

It's good when a coach makes a move that:

(a) is made BEFORE everyone in the stand makes it,

(b) is made without anyone noticing, especially the oppostion (the best kind).

In a very competitive field, he's pretty sharp.

Yep the defensive changes he did late in the 1qtr where we hold Richmond scoreless for the next 2 qtr was just amazing. Not in any season past from recent memories that we had a coach with this ability to read the game like that. In that list I'm including Tim Watson, Malcolm Blight, Grant Thomas... Ross is a keeper that is for sure....

he put gilbert back where he has been so good all season and moved bj forward.

those are two that come to mind, but there might have been others.
