I find these sorts of posts a bit annoying.

Is this a comment or a statement based on inside info? Please make this clear.

That said, I assume that it is the most likely outcome.
Baba, if I was posting based on inside info, I'd make it clear. Otherwise everything is an opinion. I just get tired of writing IMO in every post. Who else's opinion could it be.
It's only a matter of typing 3 letters. As the old car add used to go:

"Please consider". :)

Maybe training services forgot to tell team selection that Armitage is unavailable.

"If training services don't tell us that a player is unavailable then we will make that player play" said the chairman of selectors.
"It doesn't hurt me in the slightest." he added.

The game is on Sunday.
The team sheet is exactly the same as it was last match.

Correct me if I wrong but I think the club can still make any change it likes to team sheet after training tomorrow including replacing Armitage with someone else.
Hence the real team will only be revealed tomorrow. :?

and please don't say that goose can do some ruck duties at the expense of McEvoy...

Cousins in a forward pocket.

Hi Ben, my name is Baker.
What I do is I take white powder like you and mix it with water.
Then I put you in my oven and roast you until you have crispy crust. Then my team mates eat you.

A white powder/Ben Cousins (I think) joke.

New. Exciting.

It's a good bet there will be no change.
McEvoy should still play, IMO better option for 2nd ruck than Blake.
He also played last week and played well for Sandy, which I thought was a good move by the club, plus he should be able to improve himself against Richmond who have no real establised ruckmen.

He didnt play last week at all unless he played local footy up near Albury.

No , perish the thought. I dunno , give Gwilt or Geary a week off , reckon its worth seeing exactly where Goose is at .

Herald Sun reported that McEvoy had 33 hit-outs, 3 marks and 6 disposals.

I missed that then but he sure looks more like Stanley than McEvoy.

Plugger, maybe it's possible that the H-S got it wrong??

Sounds like clarification may be required?

My tip would be no change, with Armitage the only possible inclusion for McEvoy if they do make a change.

Gwilt never played last week and dropping Geary for Goose seems like there would be too much height and an imbalance in our side...

Goose has not been selected simply because our tall and key defenders have been playing well...

My only concern is Sam Fisher, and if he has a toe injury that is limiting his performance and if that injury needs a break from the game, that would have been his only in...

But maybe Sam Fisher has recovered from this injury, the team has had a week off and he did little training so far this week, to get him right for match day

Lack of third tall FWD worries me.

Would like to see someone (Gilbert?) go there this week.

Or Dawson. Didn't see the game last week but my old man said he looked like h was going to the right spots last week and could of been used a lot more in the forward fify than he was.

I wouldnt mine seeing Dawson get a run in the forward line, has the smarts for it from what i have seen. Then again if the backline needs him so be it.

The more I look at this team the better it looks. There's not a player in that team that can't lift when needed, probably only Benny in a development stage, the rest are solid as. Slot in King and this IMO is the team that is going to represent St.Kilda in the finals.

I know - still 10 weeks to go but lookin good.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
