That's a new one. Do you have to get a plate in that one if it's not right in 2 weeks.??
Sounds like a fracture then?

I am assuming from your latest post that it is being given two weels to self-heal and that if this does not go ok that plate will then be inserted?

Thanks.

Leigh Fisher and David Armitage were both injured in the VFL over the weekend and are expected to miss two weeks. Armitage trained with the main group with a taped left shoulder, while Fisher was confined to the exercise bike after sustaining a hamstring injury.

Hopefully doesn't keep them out for too long. Hopefully not as bad as first thought for both players. 8-)

Sounds like AC to me.

Two weeks is right if properly managed.

Armo is either extremely stupid, extremely brave, extremely anaesthetised or, more likely, extremly UNbroken.

Good pix, BTW...

Sorry to upset you holy one. The information he gave me said break. Is that Ok with you or do you want a crayon and a piece of paper to write on. :)
No. I just want some accurate information rather than half-cocked reports that prove to be wrong!

He got picked mate.

And yet you assert you received a text message from him in which he himself said he had a broken collarbone. Later you sat you got that story wrong.

How highly do you rate on the BS meter?

Extremely.

Just as a point of interest, what is all the taping of the shoulder supposed to do? Provide some kind of stability or prevention against should separation? An explanation would be welcome.

A major problem when you do a knee or a shoulder for the first time is your hyper extend the muscle and it leaves it stretched too far and leaves you prone to doing it again.

Taping does the same job as the ligaments do in keeping the joint in place.

Is there any more breaking news on the condition of Armitage?
He has been selected as an interchange or reserve.
