Guess at this weeks ins and outs
I can see three scenarios this week.
No Change which I think will happen
Out Big Ben
In Jimmy
Out Geary
In Jimmy or Steven

I have a weird feeling Maguire MAY get a game but I'm not sure there's a formula that allows it to happen.
Maybe Blake gets shunted.
I think Gwilt is a chance for forward structural balance. Unlike many I thought we missed him against Carlton. Maybe Geary shifts out.
But that's all pie in the sky.
Realistically I think no change unless there's some injury that we don't know about.

trevor barker
extended bench of
steven, lynch, gwilt
will be no change but would loveto see ross give big ben some confidence and drop blake for lynch. Blake is just there to fill gap JUST IN CASE

Who did your source say was in...Is it Jimmy or Steven?
Or was it that they said that Ben or Geary was out?

Havent got a source. I actually think there may be no change but I reckon the ins tonight will be Jimmy, Steven and Eddy. By the way havent got one of these right this year so I am due.saintsRrising wrote:Well that means one change then.plugger66 wrote:I can see three scenarios this week.

Maguire clearly isnt going to ruck. He hasnt for at least 5 years even in the reserves so why would he now. He is far to short and doesnt have a great leap. If they go with one ruckman it will be Blake as back up and we would only do that as we have enough talls in the backline as it is without adding Goose. If he plays and IMO he will not it would have to be as the lead up forward. A role that I dont think he is capable of doing a the moment.hotdish wrote:This is an ideal game to give Goose a game, Richmond's rucks are pretty average...
Maguire to backup ruck with Blake, with the other going down back?

agreed. i'd love to see goose in but just cannot find a place structually. I think it might be time to give geary a spell but replacing him with goose would leave us top heavySpinner wrote:IN:

Final team will no doubt be no change - but here's hoping for a Goose in!
can't comprehend why you'd want to drop McEvoy. Sure he's not quite ready but we can't afford to play one aging ruckman against a team with 3 recognised ones (Graham, Pattinson, Vickery and Simmonds a chance to return).

Watched him plenty of times, and your right he would be stiff to be dropped but so was Gwilt and he still went.Sobraz wrote:Clearly haven't watched McQualter once this season..saintbob wrote:OUTS : McEvoy and McQualter

Is no chance of being dropped...
It would be a good game to get a look a a kid like Steven, and unfortunately IMO Mini will be the one to make way for him.
