I remember a post last year on who you would take from another club if you could (one player). Ablett, Buddy and Fev were mentioned last year from memory.
My choice might be a boring one but its Ablett for me.
Quick
Kick goals
Tackles well
Effective by hand and foot
Marks well for his size
Image how well Dal Santo would go with Ablett there.

Ablett would bolster our midfeild to the point of complete domination of every game. Opposition coaches already have headaches over tagging Hayes/Dal Santo/Montagna, freeing one of them up with the must-tag number one midfeilder Ablett would help our game more than actually having Ablett's game on our side.

Ablett is way overated. I would decently prefer Judd

M first choice on current form and what we need would be Steve Johnson...

Both over rated (great players I agree but not the Gods the media hypes them up to be). I am with Sobraz, Steve Johnson would be my pick also.

A young Aaron Hamill.
Schneider - Roo - Hamill
Milne - Kosi
Would be a scary lot up forward.

He's still only 31, having retired at 28. I'd settle for a fit "original" Aaron Hamill.
Yes add Aaron
"the original forward pressure" Hamill back into our current team and you would have a forward line that would be feared.

In this paradise world, I'd happily take any of:-
Ablett
Judd
Hodge
Cooney
Bartel
J.Selwood
Black
and immediately move BJ to become the HFF/third forward marking option we're missing.

The only weakness our team has is a third (tallish) gun forward.
I would take Pav in a heartbeat!
Why?
-He's a gun
-Leadership skills
-Consistency
-Kicks goals
-Durable
-role model (not a tool off the field)
- rotates through the midfield
- very marketable
Pav, Kossi, Roo. Not a bad FWD line!

a fast midfielder like a Lovett or a Wells (good wells not bad wells) would make our midfield even more deadly and would make opposition teams have to think long and hard about who to tag. A good lead up forward like Ryan o'keefe would be handy as well.

Clone Brendon Goddard. Play one on the HBF and the other on the HFF.
Plus just imagine the arguments that would happen if one of them missed the target.

We have all we need, but if I had a choice I may take Goodes, to play that mobile roaming/lead-up role across half forward. He could mark everything that came near him between the forward 50 and the wings, leaving Roo and Kosi dangerous inside 50. That Franklin bloke could be handy there, too, or S Johnson. Some extreme pace would be handy, too- C Rioli, A Lovett, or Aaron Davey, to break the lines and kick goals.
YOU GET WHAT YOU SETTLE FOR.

No Big Mac is some lanky slow Ruckman who will take ages to develop and Cyril is a young gun who wins games

I think he is injured at the moment so he would be no good as our second ruckman.
