Harvey tearing up the ammos!

Post: # 761214Post Armoooo »

I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I'll pop it up here, just went down to the shops and on the radio on the way back was a bloke who just went to see Ol' Hailbury in the B Grade ammos,

A few saints were playing, I didn't touch the other two but apparently Harvey got 47 touches in his sides 5 goal win...

He retired a year too early

Yes B grade ammo's is the same standard as the AFL.

Everyone knows this.

47 touches at any standard is impressive.

It shows general awareness and ability to find the ball. That tends to be universal regardless of what level you play at.

However, B-Grade Ammos is in fact a tad below AFL I'd reckon.

i played B grade Ammos and I can tell you that 47 touches for Harvey should be a good half of work. For me it was a whole season of touches.

Obviously I'm aware of that.

it's just no matter how well the team have been going this year I've always had that nagging thought at the back of my mind - Harvey should be here...

But 47 touches in the B Grade ammos still aint easy, I know I wouldn't be able to get a kick in that comp, just shows he's still willing to run, present and his mind is still in it.

On the flip side though there's nothing worse than seeing a champion stay on that one year too long.

No, the umpiring in B grade ammos is of a far superior standard to the AFL.

Agree totally.

Actually went down to McKinnon Oval for 10 minutes yesterday and at the start of the second quarter in the middle of the ground was Browny, Harvs and Vossy with Loewe down at FF. The funny thing is St Bernards got first possesion out of the middle ang got a goal straight away.

I was playing on the ground next to him. Saw them go through their drills before the match and stewie is still unbelievably gigantic.
