Social Club

Post: # 759958Post craigfox »

Hey guys I got an email recently about there only being 2 weeks opportunity left to purchase Social Club memberships. Just had a few questions regarding this...

1. I already have an 11 game student concession membership can I simply upgrade this to the social club membership?

2. How much would this cost?

3. When it says it gives you "guarenteed acess to purchase a grand final ticket" does this mean that you get the option of purchasing one or this their some sort of ballot that takes place.

So basically just wondering if it would be worth it at this stage of the season as I am sure it is pretty expensive but I would love the chance to get some GF tickets if we got their of course.

to get social club you need to have 11 game membership
there is No concession social club
just adult $125
or junior $58

the club will be allocated around 11,500 tickets for the grandfinal- you will still need to pay the face value of the ticket BUT those with social club will get FIRST rights to these,
then general 11/16 game football members get next option-

so when you take up social club as part of your membership you are guaranteed a grandfinal ticket IF you wish to take the option when offered

you will be asked during the finals if you will be taking the option- not a ballot BUT you will ned to reserve your interest at that time.

You're only guaranteed a grand final ticket if we're actually playing in it.

Thanks for that help very much appreciated. So would that be like buying another membership and having 2 memberships (my current 11 game membership and a social club membership)?

Also how does the seating work on gameday and I think I read something about being able to purchase guest passes for friends.

No, it wouldn't mean you would have 2 11 game passes. Still the one you have. A Solcial Club membership has no access to games purely on it's own.

You can reserve (purchase via ticketek, 2 or 3 dollars) a seat in the social club area on Level 1 near the Victory Room during games.

Don't know anything about guest passes.

SC seats can be reserved from 9 a.m. the Saturday before the following week's game, gets you seats in aisle 18-23, forward pocket Locket end dockside for home games.

Access to the Victory Room before, during, after the home game - usually three or four players speaking after each home game.

Ticketmaster.com.au charge $3.30 per reserved seat plus a $5.50 (?) booking charge per "booking" of up to ten seats - so if you get two or ten seats reserved it costs $5.50.

Thanks guys. Will have to strongly consider it as I don't want to miss out on the GF should we get there.
