Unfortunately it is now all about money instead of the supporters.
The B&F has become another fundraiser.
They work out the maximum price they can charge.
Perhaps they should also charge admission to training ?

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Mrs BF should rightly buy you a ticket and a flight down.BakesFan wrote:never been to one...day before my birthday..I might just have to treat myself this year.................If Mrs. BF will let me
Is there likely to be a Saintsational table I can tag on to?
We'll look after you when you get here, and Mrs BF can be happy in the knowledge ... ah who am I kidding...

The B&F is a fundraiser?
Strike me down with a feather duster!
Who would've thought?
EVERY event the club runs is a fundraiser - all those Women's/Angel's/Meet the players.
We aren't exactly flushed with money are we??
If anything, they should look at some $500 tickets per person for a few tables in prime possies given we may make the Granny this year....

yeah, well one year they tried to go cheaper, there were $80 seats i believe. It was a flop. Even with extensive advertising they made a big loss on the night. i would doubt they would do that ever againEnrico_Misso wrote:Unfortunately it is now all about money instead of the supporters.

I went last year and was actually a little disappointed for the money i paid. However it probably didn't help that we had the worst seats in the house- couldn't even see who was being interviewed. Ah well, i guess someone had to have those seats! Wasn't too impressed with the food either just quietly.
I actually prefered the one at Vodafone in 2006 when i paid $60- seats like you were part of the audience but at least it was a decent view.
It's clearly a night that is dedicated to the players, really not an opportunity for a photo or autograph, so if you are there purely for the atmosphere and the night itself then it's a good night out.

Destiny. It's in our hands.
Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.
Every year we have been and thats alot of years we had had heaps of photos with boys they are very happy to do they are relaxed, i must admit the first B&F at docklands food wise was alo better ($250 ) than last year ( I think it cost $215) but still a good night. so it looks like they have gone for the better quality of food this year with the higher price again.milney044 wrote:I went last year and was actually a little disappointed for the money i paid.
