If his nose was as badly broken as it is reported to be I am shocked and a little sickened they sent him back on the park.
I mean winning a game of footy is one thing and Judd is a star with courage to spare but he was obviously in distress and having trouble breathing. If he coped a heavy knock his life may have been in danger.
Shame Carlton shame
BANG BANG

The following is a direct quote from foxsports just now:mullet wrote:Well apparantly according to the commentators we only kicked goals when judd was off the ground. I am over judds broken nose and ive only seen 1 quarter.
"The saints regained control of the game in the absence of the Blues skipper"
Im assuming they are referring to his absence for the whole game?
The only time anyone knew he was on the ground was the hysterical cheering by the clueless blues fans!
I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.
I know how Dal feels.

Yeah swallowing all that blood he could have got a blood poisioning infection from himself.perfectionist wrote:When the clash first happened in the third quarter, and Chris Judd went off, we kicked three goals. Nobody knows whether we would have kicked them anyway but it didn't do our chances any harm. Of course, we had one or two off with the blood rule and/or contact injuries from time to time too.
On Cairnsman's point, I didn't like it either and it was his direct opponent who did the telling. I know other teams and players do it but that doesn't mean we have to.
On an associated point, Carlton should be called to answer as to why they continually sent him back onto the field when he was clearly in no state to continue. Not only was he still bleeding, but he could not breathe properly and was swallowing blood. There was a real risk for him and their medical staff should hang their heads in shame. The AFL should act.

They were doing it for his safety he should not have been out there in that condition, pity his teammate didn;t feel the same.
I do however not think we needed a blow by blow pictorial of the treatment he was receiving there was a game on and they spent ages showing what they were doing to him.
Hope he is ok
