How the game will be won.

Post: # 756640Post nathan000 »

I was looking over the yearly statistics and found one over whelming stat.

When Carlton have won this year, they have been allowed to run and have space, the oppositions tackle count has been a low average of 51.

Yet over there last 3 losses to Hawthorn, Fremantle and Adelaide, the oppositions tackle count has been an average of 62, which has been our average tackle count for the whole year so far.

Carlton can not stand continual pressure and harassment when they have the ball. If we apply this pressure there skills will drop and resort in costly turnovers for them.

This is where the game will be won.

Good post.

That definately shows that one on one is the way to play Carlton. Particularly their midfield.

That is the reason I think we will win comfortably, the Blues don't stand up to pressure football
