Read an interesting stat today in the Geelong Advertiser (Saintdebi may be able to confirm). Geelong have won 48 from their last 50 games & we were 2nd with 33 from 50 & one draw, just pipping Hawthorn on 33.

Interestingly that 'streak' Geelong keeps talking about starts after Round 4 in 2007 - they arbitrarily pick a point in time, rather than use the start of the 2007 season.

What is our win/loss record like since the Freo game last year (the game before NM on the Gold Coast)?

I've a feeling it would be quite impressive.

hawthorn and geelong have premierships in the past 2 years.

geelong are favourites for another.

being top of the H&A counts for nothing as we discovered in 97

this team does look to have more steel in it so far though.

Thanx suss but thats OK - i haven't posted much, so i probably deserve it.
the point i want to get accross is exactly what Dan Warna said..being top counts for nothing..
