Was really impressed Saturday with the way Joey handled himself, not only was he a very good player but was able to deal with the constant niggle of his opponants, really stood up for himself, starting to look like a hardened midfielder. Is he whats called elite yet?

Maybe this year?

I would be in no rush to be calling him elite, last time he heard that word he went missing for 18 months...

Does everything these days. Wins his own footy, runs and carries, one of the leading tacklers, can chime in with a goal.

If "elite" is a bit of a stretch, "complete" certainly is not.

May well be an All-Australian if he keeps this up.

Kangaroo hero's were giving it to him at every opportunity. Went up a
number of notches in my estimation.
Elite. Maybe no quite yet, but not far away. Is no doubt one of the first St Kilda players mentioned when opposition coaches talk about who to tag.
