5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

AFL HQ don't like him.
I can't stand Demetriou and Anderson (you wouldn't guess that from my posts would you).
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Nathan Buckley for pure football knowledge and insight.
Grant Thomas for honesty and telling it like it is ... 'shoving it up 'em'
Brian Taylor for calling footy.
Billy Brownless for entertainment value.
Understand they are "ex" footballers, but there aren't too many of the current bunch who actually work in the media while playing.

anyone who talks about the game and doesn't try and be a 'celebrity'. Shane Crawford, Newman, Fev and their cranium vacant mates on the footy show give me the shytes.
Hird is good, Richo comes across as fairly humble and genuine, Buckley is knowledgeable. I like Matthews. Straight forward and knows the game backwards.

Akermanis is absolutely appalling. It's the easiest thing in the world to be "controversial" just for the sake of it. He has never said anything even remotely interesting and I can't believe he is being praised for his "wit." He is a single figure IQ moron.
Hird and Buckley have both been very good in the media. Voss, of course, was a huge disappointment - he can hardly string a sentence together. Shane Crawford and Billy "couple of frothies" Brownless should not be allowed near a camera or a microphone.

You obviously like listening to ex footballers then. Billy is good at what he does as is Craw. Voss was average but obviously has done well as a coach and Aker is excellent.Scottish Saint wrote:Akermanis is absolutely appalling. It takes all sorts doesn't it. Brownless is an appalling caricature of a knockabout larrikin more interested in his own regular bloke image than commenting on the game and Crawford is full of his own 'celebrity' status. Good footballer does not necessarily = celebrity. They've both swallowed their own petty celebrity, drummed up by Channel 9, hook line and sinker. Ditto Newman, Fevola, Garry Lyon. Absolute trollops.plugger66 wrote:

I spotted them sitting there steam all over the place and it wasnt until i approached them i realised who it was. He made it we lostWinmarvellous wrote:Gilbert McAdam..Marngrook.
