3-5 years time
Just a team of guys I reckon will still be going around,of course there are plenty of things can happen, inj, trades etc.But I reckon its not a bad looking side
Notice I have left out those who are yet to play from the 18
Dempster Dawson Fisher
Ray Gilbert R.Clarke
NDS Goodard Monty
Allen Roo Armitage
Eddy kosi Geary
McEnvoy Jones Ball
INT Stanley Simpkin Lynch Heyne Steven Miles
Should be well placed to have a strong side for a while yet
Yes i am a bit bored today

Moron.
So in three years, all our players will be players that are currently on the list?
In 3 years of drafting, we won't draft a single player who will be in our 22? If that's the case, we may as well all jump off the bandwagon after 2010...
How many AFL games has Allen played...you've put him in your team, why?

What did the OP say to deserve that kind of response?

Exactly I really think calling the OP a moron is way out of line Saintschampions08Griggsy wrote:yikes, forgive him for not predicting our future draftees. Dont think that was really called for.

So Draftees dont count.
By the way I like the team

But the OP did leave out Billy Slater. Lack of foresight IMO.St Fidelius wrote:Exactly I really think calling the OP a moron is way out of line Saintschampions08Griggsy wrote:yikes, forgive him for not predicting our future draftees. Dont think that was really called for.

This is my best team for 2012 - Hudghton, King, Gardiner, Baker, Blake retired
B: R.Clarke (26), Dawson (26), Dempster (28)
HB: S.Fisher (29), Gilbert (25), Gram (28)
C: Montagna (29), Goddard (26), Dal Santo (28)
HF: Schneider (27), Riewoldt (29), Armitage (23)
F: Milne (32), Koschitzke (29), Lynch (21)
Foll: McEvoy (22), Ball (28), Hayes (32)
Int: Geary (23), McQualter (25), Stanley (21), Ray (26)
Biggest doubt on that team is the ruckman. I suspect after the success of King and Gards, Lyon will always look to have two mature recycled rucks on the list.
EDIT: thanks vs

I suppose, even 10 wins in a row can't take away the fact that you support Leeds!
Hmm, any Ruckman at the optimum age for being recycled here before retirement as McEvoy and Stanley are still developing?Biggest doubt on that team is the ruckman. I suspect after the success of King and Gards, Lyon will always look to have two mature recycled rucks on the list.

It would be a worry if McEvoy is still developing in 3 to 5 years timeJames wrote:Hmm, any Ruckman at the optimum age for being recycled here before retirement as McEvoy and Stanley are still developing?Biggest doubt on that team is the ruckman. Rucks take a long time to come around. I'd like to think he'd be playing at a high standard by then though.St Fidelius wrote:It would be a worry if McEvoy is still developing in 3 to 5 years timeJames wrote:Hmm, any Ruckman at the optimum age for being recycled here before retirement as McEvoy and Stanley are still developing?Biggest doubt on that team is the ruckman. Epic ruck combo. Has us set for the next decade or even more.

I am going to throw in a few rookies that I think will succeed.
1. Sam McGarry. Has been best for Sandy reserves the last few weeks. Not sure what position they are using him in though.
2, Ross Tungatalum. Kicked 3 last week, had two previous bags of 4. Will probably take over from Milney.
3. Blake McGrath. 208cm players dont come around very often.

Not sure McGarry will be at our club next year let alone 3 years.borderbarry wrote:I am going to throw in a few rookies that I think will succeed.

It depends what you mean by developing. If he's still running around in the V in three years, that's a problem. He's not likely to reach his peak though until his mid-to-late twenties. So he should be on the improve.St Fidelius wrote:It would be a worry if McEvoy is still developing in 3 to 5 years time
