The whole point of an away strip is that the AWAY team wears it so as not to clash with the traditional strip of the home team.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

i dont know why the Dees played in that red clash jumper? ive seen dried up dog s*** that looks better than that! why didnt they play in their white clash jumper? that white one looks very nice compared to that red one.

yeah, it seemed as though we were making a comprimise to Essendon because their away strip could clash with out home strip.Spinner wrote:We did against Essendon.Sainternist wrote:NO!

this is wear the yellow away strip should be implented like in the world game. who cares if it's yellow! just put it on, play the game and there is no colour clash. problem solved.
also, if we do happen to make the grand final (fingers crossed), i like to see us wearing the traditional strip. was annoyed when andrew plympton opted for the "tombstone" in '97.

Uh noooo....unlike that borefest called the "worldgame" jumpers actually mean something and are not to be treated lightly. I dont think anything from the "worldgame" would benefit sport like AFL.
