Looked like a very dirty hit. Nasty elbow.

McEvoy will be delighted to have some more game time though.

Nothing in it. A lot worse has been let go at the tribunal this year. At worst, a reprimand as there was little or no impact and no injury to the player.

I was more interested in the hit Nick received in the 2nd quarter down near the goal square.

didnt see it, when did it happen.

The knock to the back of Nicks head will be interesting, was no replay so couldnt tell if there was any force, might of been a glancing hit, but definate contact to the head.

You would expect him to get at least one! I would put my money on two!

A VERY silly thing to do!

Forearm to the head, behind play. Two weeks at least.
Is he carrying any points?

Well really, how could you judge what it is going to be? Bakes went out for a couple of weeks a couple of years ago for ATTEMPTING to strike? What box does that tick? High impact? Intentional? The AFL tribunal has no idea. Complete joke. Almost as bad as the umpiring for all of the games so far this weekend. What happened to free kicks for in the back, holding the ball, etc? They have thrown the rule book away it seems......

Gards could probably do with a bit of a break

He has been awesome all year and deserves to put his feet up and give his body a rest

When he comes back he will be fresh and ready to go

An enforced lay off now might be a blessing later on down the track

If he gets 2 that means he won't play till 28 June.

In Gards defence he could say he was trying to push him away from the contest (because it was more of a pushing action), and because he is so tall he misjudged it and got him in the head  :)

Very poor form.

My guess is he'll get 2 weeks, which is a pity because he'd be handy against the likes of McIntosh, Hale and Petrie. Should be back to take on that mut Simmonds though.

Could be a blessing in disguise.

Big Mac gets a few games and a fresh Gardi comes in for the run up to September.
