Seats at Stk v Geelong without ticketmaster fees

Post: # 747895Post saint08 »

Simply by purchasing a reserved seat. It's a stk home game, so don't put money in collo's hands. put it into the club's coffers and have your own reserved seat, perhaps on the MW, or for those with a couple of extra dollars they can find, on the wing on level 2.

In the words of Pauline, please explain.

I believe the Club have an allocation of reserved seats given to them to sell before the season.
They sell as many as they can as Season Reserved Seats and the rest they try and sell on a match by match basis. At some point prior to the game they return them to TicketMaster otherwise they have to pay for the ones they haven't sold.

If you call the CLub now you can purchase those seats for the Geelong game before they go back to TicketMaster. If you purchase from the Club you may not have to pay the booking fee.

Are all seats at this game reserved like finals? or is it first in best dressed in most areas?

My understanding is that those not sold as yearly reserved are given back to TM for match-day sale, however they are only put on sale after all other reserved seat tickets are sold for that Level

I defer to your knowledge on this matter saint66au, but I recall reading a thread a few weeks ago complaining about seats in Saints sections being sold to non-saints supporters, and someone posted that they had rung the Club and been told that the Club do sell some seats on a daily basis?

Yes, they do. They sell the setas onlevel 2 on a game by game basis, where the corporates sat last year. They are on the flank now, so leaving the prime seats for either

1. purchase for the season;or
2. those not sold, are available first @$130 incl lunch in the 300 club ($30 for kids). Then if not sold, they get handed to ticketmaster.
