Due to other commitments could not attend today.

Good win.

Lions came to play.

Played to their optimum.

We gave 100% for 100% of the game.

four points no injuries thats what we are after round 9.

forget about percentage boosters, we just have to consolidate, and fine tune a system that will beat Melbourne, not alone Geelong and Hawthorn

Joens, geary, zac have shown plenty.

Gardiner class act.

Lenny a club legend.

Yeh just watched the replay also and agree Choowy ...on reflection a very good and gutsy win.
Great last quarter from Milne,Joey and Roo.
Should've won much earlier with straight kicking...missed 4 puds in the 3rd quarter alone...also thought the umpiring favoured Brisbane bigtime...
the Baker mark where he was tackled and the resultant spillage resulted in a Brisbane goal...what the f#$k happened there was it touched or not 15 if not Bakes should have got a 50 metre penalty..the prolion commentary didn't even mention it

...all in all a gutsy win...

9 zip is an absolute dream at this stage...

top 2 should be sown up in the next 4 or 5 weeks hopefully 8-)

Was a good effort by Brisbane today, we dominated them in the first quarter and then they worked themselves back into the game.

If you are kicking goals at 80-odd percent efficiency then you are always going to be in the hunt. Not many teams will be able to convert their chances as well as they did today.

Was a gutsy win by the Saints today, the class players stood up when it counted. Roo's goal at they end under pressure was a true Captains goal.

All in all it wasn't a stellar performance from the Saints, the Lions came to give it their all; knock off the ladder leaders. We withstood it and got the win.

Now we watch all the talk this week about how good Brisbane are...

Edit- I'm with you Pat, I have seen the Baker mark a few times now and can't work out how that tackle got allowed. Disgraceful. Then the commentators went on about how good it was
