Exactly, Raph was OK today in his 1st game for a while (sans that kick out that went to his opponent). We have 3 players in the twos with claims on being in the Seniors. Good position to be in!!backit wrote:The_Dud wrote:we needed a token Aboriginal player in this round...?
That commentt is in poor taste. Raph is in our best 22 when he is fit.
To teach him to bloody well kick the thing and not shank it 4 out of five times.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I'd rather have Gram, Goose and Max in ahead of Raphjackal wrote:backit wrote:Exactly, Raph was OK today in his 1st game for a while (sans that kick out that went to his opponent). Raph needs to lift his game on todays performance

YES, but the reason is unknown. This won't stop people from offering up reasons !!Aussie Bears wrote:???

I claimed last week that Gram's attack on the ball and the player has been sub standard - quite a few times against the Pies and the Dons he had the chance to lay a big tackle and he didn't make a great effort to do so
That said the fact that he could hardly run during the week was probably more of a concern - if this was due to general soreness there is every chance that he woke up this morning and felt alright
good to see him in the best anyway - no doubt he will get a recall very soon

IMHO Gram was dropped because he was pathetic in the last half v Essendon. Went missing and skirted the outside of packs. Had one touch in a half of footy and that was an accidental possie. I posted straight after last week's game that it was a pathetic effort. He was coasting. Deserved to be dropped.
AwayInUSA no longer ... have based myself back in Melbourne for a decade of Saintsational Success (with regular trips back to the USA)

Unfunny - considering you are always on Jimmy and Raphs case.The_Dud wrote:JOKEperfectionist wrote:What a dumb comment! Stick to abilities and not race.The_Dud wrote:we needed a token Aboriginal player in this round...?
Can be construed of bigotry.

thought raph was ok, considering the amount of time hes missed he didnt do too much wrong
however
he came in to replace gram, and we missed gram today. Im usually fairly critical of grams kicking ability, as he rarely seems to hit a drop punt, but his run and carry, and the way he breaks through the lines was badly missed today. If the option was there next week, raph or gram, id go gram 100 percent of the time, and i know its probably a bit harsh based on one game, but i thought we missed gram big time. How often did we get stuck on the wings? too often in my opinion
