Where did you hear Roo is alright Belfast?
I was beginning to sweat a bit.
Not a bad start to the game, hopefully we can keep up the intensity and the results will follow.

26 to 6, Kosi kicked one after the siren.
Lenny going well, team sloppy and lots of turnovers, Gwilt looked slow and got caught with ball a few times but also did a few good things. Pressure is good again causing them to struggle going forward.
20 point margin is our average 1st qtr lead this season

I know the stuff written about our training regime but when Montagna came off half through the quarter he looked like he had just ran a marathon.
Messy from the saints again this week, NDS set up Gilbert with a hospital pass, 1 out on full 1 out of bounds. Gardiner good from boundary throw ins, but Clarke is good at center square bounces. Backline keeping Brown and Bradshaw quite. And Goddard has been very quiet!

Pretty tough with three 6-day breaks ... the players have barely been training, just recovering the whole week.
Personally I know that the fitness staff were filthy with the Monday night game.

That was 2 weeks ago. We played on Sunday last week. Can't keep using that as an excuse.Legendary wrote:
