All these people that want heads to role each week. It's round 8, have you learnt yet!!!!!!!!!
Whats wrong with wanting to see the best possible team?
Maybe we should de-list those blokes at seasons end if you don't want them.
Given Max might need an extra week for fitness, but he should not have to wait for an injury thereafter.......
And on your last point....I didn't realise we were an unbeatable team....and that it couldn't get better.....

Gram is obviously suspect.....R Clarke might be a game day change.

This would have been the right game to switch in Max for Gram.
We'll still probably win, etc. but we need to get matches into his legs. If he's ready, I reckon it's just about time.

Eddy most likely for Gram if he doesn't come up. I recon he may have been omitted last time for team balance and was named best for the Zebs last week Gut feeling on the way i think RL is with the "team" aspect, and I think he's thought of highly in this regard, but could be wrong and Grammy may come up anyhow!

Just on a side note I hope all these 'Don't touch the team' people have the same attitude when our next loss comes around.....
Because it seems like most are getting a bit on top of themselves without even considering that we might be able to improve.
To most it sounds like we think we are unbeatable at the moment....and that this is our best 22.

Every win takes us closer to our first loss. But let's cross that little bridge when we come to it.
Our next loss will be our first.

Two weeks in the VFL is enough. If he gets through unscathed he should be right back in. If Goose kicks another bag in the V you've got to strongly consider bringing him in. Surely hard work has to be rewarded.Spinner wrote:Given Max might need an extra week for fitness, but he should not have to wait for an injury thereafter.......

me, too. raph's more like the attacking risk-taker we'd be seeking to replace.Sobraz wrote:Not totally in favour of the 'no change after a win no matter what policy', but Ross is on a roll and it has merrit...
In that, it'll be no change, unless Gram doesnt come up... In which case, Eddy will take his place..
Personally, I'd prefer Raf...

I'm all for the ain't-broke-don't-fix plan but if Gram is under a substantial cloud, why not replace him with Max?
It worked with King for McEvoy: King came back 100% instead of being risked and McEvoy got some much needed experience.
Couldn't we do the same here? That's all. It's not a match-breaking decision, but we sure need to get Max in top form before finals.
Particuarly if we face Hawthorn and Buddy/Roughy/Willo start firing up...

Dont get me wrong... I LOVE Max and cant wait to see him back in the side, but not as a backman who runs through the midfield. If Max ever has to fill that role we are DOOMED for failure!!!

Structurally you can't bring Max in for Gram ... one of our hardest running and most creative players can't be replaced with the most negative player (in a good way) on the list.
It was stated that Hudghton would play 2 matches in the VFL. The medical and conditioning staff would have recommended this.
At the completion of 2 matches, Hudghton will resume in the senior team.
Is that difficult to understand?

You people are amusing.
When is the best time to bring someone back?
When they firckin deserve it.
Why rush Max? Yup Brown / Bradshaw. So let's risk him and he goes down again for another 3 months.
Goose? Well I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but the boy has to start his career allover again, much the same way as Kosi has.
Read between the lines: "He'll play a part but we'e not sure how big" "not elite, but a bona-fide AFL player"
