Harves
It makes me sick to see Harves in the Navy Blue.. But I wonder what he is making of all this this.. Blues Hot & Cold & we are off to to a flyer.
Would be a cruel twist of fate for him if we were to win it the year after he retires..
I imagine him to be still be watching our games very keenly.
Come back champ!

I saw Harves in the Waterside before the game and went up to say G'day ,,, asked him how he was travelling this year ,, his reply was "be travelling a lot better if I was in that side"
He was sittin with 2 other people , coulda been the queen and micheal jackson for all i knew ,, cant even say i remember what they looked like , i was just overwhelmed at meeting Sir Robert.
In the past 8 months I've met , Terry Daniher , Stewie Loewe , Glenn Archer and now Harves and the same thing is common ,, i always wish i woulda met these blokes without so many beers being consumed beforehand.

If we do ( touch wood ) manage to go all the way Harves as thrilled for us as he will be will be also gutted for missing out by one season after hanging in for twenty.
But the question is would he have been up to another season? I think yes.
Even with him being another year slower I have no doubt with the skill level of this team now he would find it far less work and effort than last couple of seasons.
Maybe they would have been able to carry him a little bit for a change.

saw vision of him sitting in the Carlton dug-out with a headset on when they played Freo on the weekend and it was really strange to watch. It just looked wrong, seeing Sir Robert with evil empire gear on.d roit wrote:My uni is across the road from Princess Park and i always see Carlton people at the cafe on my end of royal parade. Probably a weekly occurance to see harves in the navy blue polo top. i die a little bit inside every time i see him like that
Oh for goodness sakes grow up you lot
The Carlton fullback of the century is an assistant coach at St.Kilda.
Harvs was right to get some experience at a different club. He may or may not come back.
Does it matter?
We are playing like a team and not hailing messiahs as is the St.Kilda want.
Seems like some still dont get it.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Maybe people think GT couldnt coach but that is one thing he got right from day one at the Saints. We even had a thread today saying Dal may become leading possession winner in the AFL this after this round. Who cares it should always be about team.joffaboy wrote:Oh for goodness sakes grow up you lot

Reminds me of that old joke....
An old fella is on his death bed when he calls for his loyal wife.
He says;
"Darl, you've stuck by me through it all"
"When we were young and struggling you were there"
"When my business failed and we lost the house, you were right beside me."
"When I crashed my car and I ended up paralysed from the waist down, you stood by me...."
"..... and now in my final moments, you're still at my side"
The Old man looked into his adoring wife's eyes and said, "Sweetheart there's something very important I need to say to you."
His loving wife, eyes wet with tears , took the old man's hand in hers and asked, "What is it, Dear?"
To which the old man replied;
"I think you're a F#CKIN' Jinx!!!"
No disrespect meant... it's just a joke, okay?

Do be too upset kids, when you grow up St Kilda will claim you under the father son rule.
You will never have to play for the Scum.

When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
